Mobile Phones Found From Four Candidates In Amu Entrance Exam – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live

In AMU’s B.Tech, B.Arch and B.A.LLB entrance exams, mobile phones were recovered from four candidates from different examination rooms. These were sealed and sent to the examination controller. Earlier, in the MBA entrance exam, two candidates were caught cheating using mobile phones.

The entrance exams for B.Tech, B.Arch, B.A.LL.B and B.Ed were held at exam centres in Aligarh, Kolkata, Lucknow, Patna, Srinagar, Kozhikode and Delhi. The entrance exams for B.Tech and B.Arch were held in the morning shift for which 14,250 students had registered. Out of these, 11,346 or 79.60 students appeared for the exam. The internal flying squad recovered one mobile phone each from three students who had come to appear for the exam at the exam centres set up in the departments of Mathematics, Commerce and Physics.

The entrance exams for BA LLB and B.Ed were held in the evening shift. A mobile phone was found with a candidate in the BA LLB entrance exam. 4818 students had applied for BA LLB and 2613 students for B.Ed. Vice Chancellor Prof. Naima Khatoon, along with Proctor Prof. Wasim Ali and his team, inspected several entrance exam centres including the Faculty of Arts, Department of Statistics, Syed Hamid Senior Secondary School and Ajmal Khan Tibbia College.

In the morning shift, Registrar Mohammad Imran along with the proctor and his team inspected the examination centres like ZH College of Engineering and Technology, Commerce Department, RMPS AMU City School and Commerce Department. Proctor Prof. Mohammad Wasim Ali said that mobiles have been recovered from the candidates. The examination superintendent has sealed the mobiles and sent them to the examination controller’s office. The candidates were brought to the proctor’s office for questioning, where they were released after taking their name, address and mobile number. This matter will be placed before a seven-member investigation committee, action will be taken according to the investigation report.
